The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) is one of the Leading University of Bangladesh. The BSMRAU Library is one of the important sections for support and development of high quality teaching, research and outreach programs. The library has a current collection of local and foreign books relating to agriculture and allied sciences. The library includes about nineteen thousand and four hundred books through an active acquisition program. The library subscribes some journals from broad and abroad and receives local and foreign journals in exchange of “Annals of Bangladesh Agriculture” with 140 institutions from broad and abroad. Library has 1265 thesis of   MS  & Ph.D. The library provides Internet, CD-ROM and   photocopy services to its readers. Recently library entered “On Line Journal Excess” through Bangladesh Academy of Sciences. An Audiovisual Room with modern equipments is attached to the library building for holding thesis defense, seminars, conference, and workshops.The library opens at 9-00 AM and closes at 8-00 PM through Sunday to Thursday and on Saturday library opens 9-00 AM to 5-00 PM except on govt. holidays.
